The project begins
Trials of southern tea plants begin in Shandong, confronting cold winters and unfamiliar growing conditions.
Tea takes root
Cultivation succeeds in Ju County, followed by the establishment of Huangshan population tea plants.
Research system established
A dedicated tea experiment and research station is created at Mapoling in Xiazhuang.
Tea builds friendship
With approval from the Ministry of Agriculture, 300 tea seedlings are presented to the DPRK.
From factory to group
The research-based factory becomes Shandong Fulaqing Tea Factory, then Fulaqing Tea Co., Ltd. and Fulaqing Group.
Sharing tea from 35°N
Culture, content and cross-border channels carry the story of northern green tea to global audiences.
